The Tales of The Gladiator is a typed manuscript of 177 pages spanning six years (1921-1926) offering a day-by-day recount of the offshore encounters of Zane and his friends and family as they traveled the Southern California shorelines and islands aboard Zane’s yacht, the Gladiator. It passionately describes each and every fish sighting, hook-up and battle along the way, as only Zane could.
